If you are the
admin of a Facebook page then you are advised to manage the visitor’s post on
your page. If you have enabled the visitor’s post facility then anyone who
visits your page will be allowed to post on your page. These posts will be
visible only in the Visitor’s post section that is on the right hand side of
your page. You can choose who can post on your page. To get assistance on this
topic, contact Facebook Support.
Go through these
steps to allow or disable posts from visitors:
·
Login your Facebook account and open your
fanpage.
·
At the top of your page, click ‘Settings’.
·
Choose ‘General Settings’ and click on ‘Visitor’s
Post’.
·
You can now choose from either:
o
Allow visitors to post on your page.
o
Disable posts by other people on the page.
·
If you choose to allow visitors on your page to
post, then you can choose to allow photo and video post. You can also choose to
review posts by other people before they are published.
·
After making a choice, click ‘Save Changes’.
If you choose to
review posts, then the visitor’s posts will not be visible on the page until
you review them. You can find those posts in the ‘Visitor’s Posts’ section. You
can’t disable comments on your page. You can delete or hide any individual
comment later. For additional help, contact Facebook Technical Support.
